Teach Kids about STEM with Mission Science!

Do you want to volunteer at a local elementary school to help facilitate hands-on STEM activities? The Viterbi Impact Program is seeking volunteers for Mission Science, a Viterbi K-12 STEM Center program that teaches elementary students about STEM through hands-on projects. This is an unpaid volunteer opportunity.

LiveScan Background Check & TB Clearance
Volunteers working directly with minors are required to complete a Livescan fingerprint-based background check and show proof of TB clearance.

Workshops & Trainings
Viterbi Impact Program participants attend workshops to focus on personal and professional development. Volunteers working directly with youth are also expected to complete a “Mandated Reporter” Training online.

Transportation
Transportation will be provided to and from the school site via Lyft. Please consider that it takes approximately 30 minutes to travel to and from each school site. We will use the availability provided by you in the application to match you with a site.
