November is Native American Heritage Month, a time to recognize the rich heritage, achievements, and contributions of Native Americans and Alaska Natives. The USC campus sits on the ancestral land of the Tongva People, the original people of Los Angeles. Along with the Tongva, we also recognize the Chumash, Tataviam, Serrano, Cahuilla, Juaneno, and Luiseno People for the land that USC also occupies around Southern California. (EEOTIX)
An event was held on campus to commemorate the traditions and achievements of Native American people.
