Professors Belz of the Viterbi School of Engineering and Graddy-Reed of the Price School of Public Policy are hiring 1 to 2 paid undergraduate research assistants to join their research lab, MINERVA: Management of Innovation: Entrepreneurial Research and Venture Analysis. The group researches a variety of topics around the financing of innovation related to both the public and private sectors in an interdisciplinary setting of students from business, computer science, economics, engineering, and public policy.
Strong candidates will have a keen interest in engaging in direct research in the related fields of the lab, be detail oriented, a self-starter, and not overcommitted elsewhere. Applicants must have a graduation date after May 2022. Positions would begin in late November and continue at least through the spring term. RAs may continue into summer and/or the following academic year. Undergraduates typically stay with the lab for 1-2 years.
Research Assistants will work approximately 10-20 hours a week on a related project managed by Belz & Graddy-Reed. Undergraduate RAs work on data collection and cleaning, literature reviews, and potentially data analysis based on experience and interest.
