VMware is excited to share that our VMware Achieve and Rise Scholarships are now open for applications! VMware scholarships were created to support and encourage students in the technology industry as they work to achieve their educational goals. Our hope is that these tuition awards allow the recipients to focus less on the financial burden and more on their passions!
VMware Achieve Scholarship:
The Achieve scholarship provides a one-time, $10,000 USD tuition award to a female student pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related. Applicants must identify as female and be currently enrolled in a US based accredited university with a minimum GPA of 3.4.
VMware Rise Scholarship:
The Rise Scholarship provides a one-time, $5,000 USD tuition award to two students pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related. Applicants must identify with one or more underrepresented minority groups and be currently enrolled in a US based accredited university with a minimum GPA of 3.0

Fine print for both opportunities:
To be eligible – Be currently enrolled as an undergraduate or graduate student at an accredited university for the 2020-2021 academic year, or currently enrolled as a high school senior intending to enroll at an accredited university in the United States for the 2020-2021 academic year.
