You are invited to a Zoom Sneak Peek Event on Wednesday, May 27, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. to take a look behind the curtain of the brand-new Viterbi Baum Family Maker Space a center for designing, innovation and hands-on fabrication for USC Viterbi undergraduates!

During this event you will have the opportunity to chat with the architect of the Viterbi Baum Family Maker Space, Nathan Prevendar and USC Senior Capital Construction Project Manager, Jerome Jontry.

You will be among the first to see what this space has in store for students to utilize and check out the open design space, a fully staffed machine shop, a 3-D fabrication shop and an outdoor work area for welding and painting.  Once completed the space will be outfitted with tools such as 3-D printers, laser cutters, routers, lathes, mills, band saws, drill presses, reconfigurable workbenches, hand tools and software for design purposes.

Jerome and Nathan will also be answering student submitted questions!

This is a tour you don’t want to miss out on!

Please RSVP for this event by Monday, May 25, 2020 at 5:00 p.m. You will also be able to submit your questions via the RSVP form and during the Zoom event on May 27,2020.
