The W.V.T. Rusch Engineering Honors Program provides a unique opportunity for talented students to participate in dynamic academic and social activities and increase their competitiveness after graduation through the completion of a thesis project or commercialization plan.
Each student admitted into the W.V.T. Rusch Engineering Honors Program will choose either the Innovation Track or the Research Track.
The Innovation track is focused heavily on the identification of opportunities for new technologies and alignment of technology and innovation strategies.
The Research Track will tackle the unknown problems and challenges facing society today. The research experience students will gain through this track will complement their rigorous academic coursework and immerse students in a lab environment.
The benefits of the W.V.T. Engineering Honors Program also include:
- The Honors Colloquium
- WRIT 340 class that assists in writing the Honors thesis or commercialization plan
- Students who successfully complete the Honors Program will receive special recognition at commencement
