Atoms, Bits, and Cells (ABC) Innovation Prize Competition

Calling all undergrads. The Viterbi Office of Technology, Innovation and Entrepreneurship (TIE) is hosting its annual Atoms, Bits, and Cells (ABC) competition and would love for you to participate.

The ABC competition offers USC undergraduate students an opportunity to use innovation to develop solutions in three areas: Atoms, Bits, and Cells. The Atoms category refer to engineering hardware products such as mechanical devices. The Bits category involves digital projects such as mobile and web apps. The Cells category could have biomedical or bioengineering projects.

Through this competition, teams will attend workshops during the Spring 2022 semester to learn about the basic (i.e., ABCs) of engineering entrepreneurship.

The top three winning teams will each receive $1,000!

Please RSPV for our Info Session on February 4 at 1pm hosted by ITP Prof. Trina Gregory via Zoom.

The application is on TIE’s ABC webpage and the deadline to apply is February 22, 2022.
