Originally from Washington state, I moved to sunny SoCal to study Communication at San Diego State University. One of the most influential experiences of my undergraduate career was studying abroad in Valparaiso, Chile. I studied abroad during the Chilean Education Conflict, where students were protesting for free and equal education. Being a part of this inspiring movements is one of the reasons I pursued a Master’s degree in Postsecondary Educational Leadership, and ultimately a career in higher education.

When not at work you’ll find me competitively playing board games and listening to podcasts.
