Viterbi On-Campus Recruiting Contract

This contract is valid for the fall 2016 and spring 2017 semesters.

CANCELLATION:

Students who need to cancel an interview MUST do so at least 3 business days prior to the interview to avoid a “No-Show” status. This can be done via the Viterbi Career Gateway online, or by stopping by the Viterbi Career Connections office (RTH 218). If an emergency arises and you need to cancel less than 3 business days prior to or on the day of the interview, you MUST notify us by telephone at (213) 740-9677. You will still be given a “No-Show” status, but it allows us to inform the recruiter so he/she will be aware of the situation.

NO-SHOW:

You are responsible for attending any interviews that have been previously scheduled. Students who cancel an interview with an employer less than three business days prior to the interview date will be suspended from further use of OCR/Viterbi Career Gateway for the rest of the semester. If you cancel an interview less than three business days in advance you must:
• Write a personalized letter of apology to the recruiter within three days of the scheduled No-Show interview; and,
• Submit your letter of apology addressed to the recruiter via email to the Viterbi Career Connections office (viterbi.careers@usc.edu) with “NO-SHOW Apology Letter” in the subject line

FALSIFIED INFORMATION:

If you provide false information in your profile, resume, or application materials in order to meet interview/hiring requirements, you will be suspended from using the On-Campus Recruiting portion of Viterbi Career Gateway for the remainder of the semester.

UPHOLDING COMMITMENTS:

Upon accepting an offer, whether verbally or in writing, this contract requires you to uphold that commitment. As part of your ethical responsibility and agreement with this contract, you are to subsequently discontinue further interviewing with all other employers, including those who recruit through USC’s OCR Program. If you renege on an offer that was attained through the OCR Program, your OCR Access will be revoked for the rest of the academic year.
