Mental Health


Counseling and Mental Health Services

Individual and group counseling sessions are available at no cost to USC students, offering confidential support for a range of mental health concerns. Services include:

  • One-on-one counseling with licensed professionals
  • Group therapy for shared experiences and peer support
  • Workshops addressing anxiety, sleep, relationships, and overall emotional well-being
  • Crisis intervention and immediate support for urgent mental health concerns

Mindful USC

Mindful USC offers free programs to promote stress reduction, improved focus, and overall well-being through mindfulness practices. Students can participate in:

  • Guided meditation sessions to enhance concentration and mental clarity
  • Mindfulness workshops designed to improve emotional regulation
  • Drop-in classes for flexible, ongoing support.

Office of Religious and Spiritual Life

Students seeking spiritual, religious, or moral support can access:

  • Spiritual check-ins with trained spiritual advisors
  • Faith-based counseling and support groups
  • Confidential support through Alcoholics Anonymous (AA) and other recovery programs

Sexual Assault & Survivor Support

Confidential support is available for students who have experienced sexual assault, domestic violence, stalking, or other forms of gender-based harm. Services include:

  • Immediate therapy services with trauma-informed professionals
  • Crisis intervention and advocacy
  • Medical support for survivors, including forensic exams and emergency care
  • Confidential consultations for legal and academic accommodations

Kortschak Center

This center supports students in developing self-care strategies, academic resilience, and personal growth. Programs include:

  • "Feelin’ Connected" Friday workshops for peer interaction and wellness topics
  • Time management and productivity coaching
  • One-on-one academic success consultations
