It’s time to register for Associated Students of Biomedical Engineering’s 6th Annual Makeathon Medical Device Design Competition! This year’s event is completely virtual and will take place from Wednesday, February 17th to Sunday, February 21st. This is your chance to gain real-world biomedical engineering experience and hone your design, prototyping, and entrepreneurial skills.
This year, we are collaborating with a global health organization to bring you a pressing and relevant challenge during these times. Across the four days, you will be hearing from renowned guest speakers, learning from mentors, and pitching your solution to a panel of judges who are leaders in the biomedical field.
Teams must comprise of 4-5 undergraduate students with at least 2 upperclassmen and 2 underclassmen. As this is an interdisciplinary competition, we encourage students of all majors to participate. You can register just yourself OR with a team at the ASBME Eventbrite page below. If you register individually, we will assign you a team. Registration is live until February 3rd and will be on a first-come, first-serve basis.
