Viterbi has partnered with six of the leading engineering institutions in the world to bring you the Global Engineering Design Studio (GEDS). The goal of GEDS is to bring talented and engaged engineering undergraduate students from different parts of the world to work on some of our global society’s highest priority challenges. Workshops are delivered virtually once per week as students collaborate over the eight weeks. Mentors provide feedback and support to teams as they ideate, prototype, and synthesize real solutions.
Student’s Commitment to the Program:
8-10 hours per week for 8 weeks
•4 hours of synchronous sessions on weekends
•4-6 hours of asynchronous collaboration
•Regular submission of deliverables
•Regular meetings with mentors for feedback
The program will begin on February 19, 2022 and will run on Saturdays until the project showcase on April 9, 2022.

The application is open to all Viterbi undergraduate students but priority will be given to Viterbi juniors and seniors.
