Get Connected! Spring 2022

Would you like to join a club, organization or design team?

Attend the Get Connected engineering involvement fair Thursday, January 27th, 2022 from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. in the Michelson Center for Convergent Bioscience (MCB) - First Floor.

You will have an opportunity to learn more about the over 60+ Viterbi clubs, organizations, and design teams. You are bound to find at least one club, organization, or design team that's right for you, or you can just attend to learn more about the different clubs and resources that Viterbi has to offer. A number of departments and program representatives will highlight their programs and services.

3D Printing 4 Everyone Learn more about 3D4E and how to become a member! Our club is focused on utilizing 3D printing to work on a wide range of projects. Some previous projects include a 3D printed skateboard, kinetic sculpture, and a prosthetic hand!
Advanced Space Propulsion and Energy Lab ASPEN is a research oriented student organization that focuses its research on propulsion systems. We have published our research on multi-stage modeling and experimental validation of a solid-core nuclear thermal rocket engine on multiple occasions! We are also beginning a campaign to develop a rotating detonation engine. Join our info session to learn more about our projects and meet some of our team members!
Alpha Omega Epsilon Alpha Omega Epsilon is a social-professional organization designed to support women in STEM fields.
American Academy of Environmental Engineers and Scientists We are a professional organization for all students interested in sustainable STEM careers.

Associated Students of Biomedical Engineering The Associated Students of Biomedical Engineering (ASBME) is the premier professional organization for students interested in biomedical engineering. We put on academic, social, corporate, mentorship, and community outreach events. Our flagship events are the Corporate Dinner, where students can network with representatives from the biomedical industry, and the Makeathon, an undergraduate medical device design competition.
Association for Computing Machinery Join ACM, USC's largest computer science organization, to learn about our org and meet a group of awesome and nerdy individuals who are enthusiastic about CS! ACM hosts networking events to connect students with professionals, workshops to supplement in-class work, and even social events to connect Trojans! Everyone with an interest in computer science is welcome!

Center for AI in Society Student Branch Come learn about AI for social good, and how you can get involved!
Chem-E Car Do you want to apply chemistry and engineering skills to a hands-on project? Come hear about Chem-E Car! We are a design team that creates a miniature vehicle that is activated and controlled by chemical reactions. Students of all majors and class standing are welcome to join. Together, we will use powerful engineering skills such as CAD, Arduino programming, and electrochemistry to win a fun competition!
Code The Change Tech for Social Good: Code the Change is a family of developers, designers, product managers that build apps for nonprofits.

In addition to acting as the leadership team for the Viterbi Presidents Council by planning the VPC Retreat in the fall as well as monthly meetings, KPC plans and coordinates events for the entire Viterbi undergraduate student body, including E-Week (every February).

LavaLab Lava Lab is USC’s student run startup incubator where we build tomorrow’s startups today. Every semester LavaLab takes a cohort of 28 students composed of designers, developers, and project managers and puts them into teams of 4 to create and build a startup of their choice with the support of LavaLab alum. Then, at the end of the semester, the cohort pitches their startup to a panel of industry professionals and VC's.
