Viterbi Summer Institute

The Viterbi Scholars Institute (VSI) is a high achievement program designed to enhance the transition to USC for engineering students from underrepresented backgrounds. Institute participants will gain a competitive edge by engaging with faculty, staff, and students in a supportive community environment. The four-week residential program will prepare students for the complex coursework and academic rigor of Viterbi engineering.

Dates: Tuesday, July 9, 2024 - Tuesday, August 6, 2024

Deadline to Apply: TBD

Cost:  Thanks to generous industry sponsors, and The Viterbi School of Engineering, housing and meals are covered. VSI participants and their families will be responsible for the cost of transportation to and from campus and meals during weekend excursions. If these costs present a barrier to participate, we will offer funding grants as support.
