The School of Engineering at the University of Tokyo, Japan will be holding its 2021 Summer Program, called ESEP-G (Engineering Summer Education Program -General) from June 7 to July 16, 2021. This program offers top-class international undergraduate and graduate students a short-term research experience in the basic and translational sciences in their world-leading laboratories.
Undergraduate applicants must have completed at least two full years of study in a bachelor’s degree program by the time the program begins.
Applicants must remain enrolled at their current home university until the ESEP program ends.

Special condition regarding COVID-19
1) The program will be cancelled due to the influence of COVID-19 if travel restrictions and quarantine measures are still in effect as of MARCH 15, 2021.
There will be no postponement nor re-opening.
2) Online courses
Only those laboratories offering both in -person and online courses will allow students to switch from in-person courses to online courses upon confirming their intentions. Please refer more details on their website.
