#ViterbiAbroad, Summer 2016: Madrid, Spain

If you have been waiting to hear where we are heading, then today is your lucky day!

For Summer 2016, the Viterbi School will be hosting its annual Engineering Summer Abroad program in Madrid, Spain.

Madrid 2016 will be a 7-week program running from May 30 – July 16, 2015.  Students are required to take two of our offered courses while living and exploring the city in the center of the Iberian peninsula.  In addition to a rigorous academic curriculum, the program includes a number of cultural immersion activities including multiple day-long excursions, as well as a few weekend, overnight visits to select cities in Spain.

  • Complete applications include your course preferences, an engineering faculty letter of recommendation, as well as signing up for an in-person, group interview

Author Paul Ledesma

Paul is currently the Director of Undergraduate Admission at the USC Viterbi School of Engineering. Although he is not an engineer, he loves working with engineering students and secretly wants to be one (they do so much cool stuff!). Paul is responsible for the recruitment and enrollment of undergraduate engineering students - you may remember him giving a presentation when you were in high school. Paul manages the Viterbi Student Ambassadors and loves seeing all the great things they accomplish at http://viterbivoices.usc.edu. Paul studied Psychology at the University of Southern California and "fell into" the college admission field after graduation in 2000.
