Viterbi Impact Volunteering – Community Outreach with Local Students

By January 25, 2017Volunteering

Get involved at a local elementary, middle, or high school by doing fun, hands-on experiments with students! Viterbi Impact Program offers Viterbi students the opportunity to inspire a lifelong love of learning, curiosity, and science in young students. Work with other USC volunteers to teach basic science and engineering concepts to students, then perform an interactive demonstration or experiment. This semester we also have the unique opportunity to work with the program Space Horizons and help a group of high school students to design, build, and launch their own small satellite.

If you’d like more information please contact us at with any questions or to join our mailing list. If you think you’d like to sign up to volunteer please click here to be taken to a form to select which slot is best for you. If none of the listed time slots work for you, do not despair! We will be adding more opportunities throughout the semester.

This program offers the chance to have a big impact on students with a small time commitment of just 1-2 hours weekly or bi-weekly. Consider joining and becoming a leader in your community.
