SWE High School Conference – Volunteers Needed!

Please sign up to volunteer for SWE’s annual High School Conference, where, through engineering/STEM workshops, lab tours, a keynote speaker, and student-run panels, SWE hopes to inspire the next generation of female engineers. Please sign up for more information regarding the event and to sign up to volunteer!

High School Conference is an annual SWE event that allows students from neighboring high schools to learn about science and engineering outside of the classroom. SWE invites high school students to USC’s campus to participate in workshops and panels that are aimed to spark their interests in engineering. The event starts off with students arriving at USC’s campus and a brief introduction to the day’s schedule. Once settled, the students will be placed into groups and will have the opportunity to participate in workshops and tour some of USC’s engineering research labs. SWE members will provide students with lunch followed by a keynote speaker, giving students the opportunity to interact with college students and industry representatives on a personal level. The event will conclude with USC-student-run panels discussing engineering and student life. The event will take place on Friday, April 21st from 10am-2pm on USC’s campus. Please sign up to volunteer for as many shifts as you can, because we need your help to inspire the next generation of female engineers!
