#ViterbiAbroad: Summer 2017 in Rome, Italy

What are you doing for Summer, 2017?

How about going to Rome with USC Viterbi?

For Summer 2017, the Viterbi School will be hosting its annual Engineering Summer Abroad program in Rome, Italy.

Rome, 2017 will be a 7-week program running from May 29 – July 17, 2017.  Students are required to take two of our offered courses while living and exploring the eternal city.  In addition to a rigorous academic curriculum, the program includes a number of cultural immersion activities including multiple day-long excursions, as well as a few weekend, overnight visits to select cities throughout Italy.

How To Apply

  • Applications will be available in MyViterbi.usc.edu starting on Tuesday, October 11
  • Complete applications include your course preferences, an engineering faculty recommendation via the app (not a letter), as well as signing up for an in-person, group interview

All applications are due no later than 5:00 PM on November 4, 2016. Interviews will be conducted between November 9 – December 2 via scheduled appointment as part of the application.

Paul is currently the Director of Undergraduate Admission at the USC Viterbi School of Engineering. Although he is not an engineer, he loves working with engineering students and secretly wants to be one (they do so much cool stuff!). Paul is responsible for the recruitment and enrollment of undergraduate engineering students - you may remember him giving a presentation when you were in high school. Paul manages the Viterbi Student Ambassadors and loves seeing all the great things they accomplish at http://viterbivoices.usc.edu. Paul studied Psychology at the University of Southern California and "fell into" the college admission field after graduation in 2000.
