Hyundai Motorsports Virtual Event for Women in STEM and the Hyundai Women in STEM Scholarship

In celebration of the recent International Women’s Day, Hyundai introduced the Hyundai Women in STEM Scholarship to help encourage the next generation of female leaders. Five students will receive a scholarship for $10,000 each (click here for more information on the scholarship).

Note that the deadline for the scholarships is June 30, 2020.

In addition to the scholarship, we wanted to provide female STEM students an opportunity to learn about STEM careers in motorsports from an expert in the field. Attendees will hear from Justin Jang, an engineer with Bryan Herta Autosport on the Hyundai Motorsports team, who will discuss his own career journey into motorsports and explain why math and science are important on the race track. This exclusive virtual event will be held on Friday, June 26 from 1:00 pm – 2:00 pm PT.
