Log in to Viterbi Career Gateway today! Viterbi Career Gateway  is a career related resource dedicated to the needs of Viterbi students. This system will make it easy for you to search for engineering internship/co-op and full time jobs and give you access to information about Viterbi specific events and resources including handouts and access to additional website subscriptions.

  1. Log-in to Viterbi Career Gateway using your USC e-mail and password
  2. Click on the tab near the top of the page called My Profile* to update your personal and academic information.
  3. Read about On-Campus Recruiting and then sign the On-Campus Recruiting Contract in order to qualify for interviews hosted on campus in Viterbi Career Services
  4. Make sure you update and upload your resume and cover letter in the My Documents section before you apply to any jobs.
  5. Click on the tab near the top of the page called Jobs to start applying to engineering internships and fulltime opportunities.

*Importance of updating your profile

Employer requirements are linked to your academic profile. Your major, class standing, work authorization, degree level, and graduation date are the filters that allow you or not allow you to apply for jobs. You may not be able to apply to a job posting if something is out of date on your profile so keep it current!

Author M. Lilian Barajas

Lilian Barajas, assistant director of the Viterbi Career Connections office, is responsible for advising students, managing student communication including social media, the lead for large scale events such as the Career Fair and Career Conference, and connects Viterbi student organizations with employers. She has worked at Viterbi since 2007, first as a graduate assistant and now as the assistant director. Prior to working at USC, Lilian spent a number of years teaching. Lilian received a bachelor’s degree in family and consumer sciences from California State University, Long Beach, and a master’s degree in Postsecondary Administration and Student Affairs (PASA) from the Rossier School of Education at USC. She is also a member of the National Association of Colleges and Employers (NACE) and the Mountain Pacific Association of Colleges and Employers (MPACE).
