Apply to Viterbi’s Venture Incubation Program

Viterbi’s Venture Incubation Program (VIP) is currently accepting applications for the academic year! A brand new student-run incubation program with extensive support from Viterbi’s Student Innovation Institute and the Startup Garage, VIP is designed to help students build,launch, and grow USC’s best tech startups.

The VSI2 team and industry experts will assist teams by providing them with the necessary resources and support to help their startup grow with workshops, mentorship, guest speakers, and networking dinners.

Last year, three teams raised venture funding through our pilot program and some of our guest speakers included:

  • Evan Spiegel (Founder, Snapchat)
  • Alexis Ohanian (Founder, Reddit)
  • Phil Terry(Writer, Customers Included)

We are reviewing applications on a rolling basis with priority given to those who apply before Monday, November 7th. We are looking for teams of all stages – from researched idea to prototype to fully-launched companies.

The application is open to all undergraduate and graduate students from all USC schools.

Jenny is the Director of Student Engagement and Career Connections in the Viterbi Admission & Student Affairs Division. Jenny manages many of the undergraduate student life programs at Viterbi, as well as the services and programs that connect all Viterbi students with their post-graduate plans. Jenny holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from USC, a Master’s in Public Administration from NYU, and a Doctorate in Education from UCLA.
